Red palm oil is more than just an every day vegetable or fruit oil. Palm oil is rich in antioxidants such as vitamin A and its high concentrations of vitamin E protects skin cells and improve overall health. Studies have found red palm oil to contains vitamins D and K, which are not present in other oils. The rich nutrient content in red palm oil makes it ideal for your hair and skin. Dryness can actually cause your hair to dry and prevent growth. Red palm oil is beneficial if you have a cut or scrape on your skin, because the oil will kill germs. This antibacterial oil is also good for your hair and scalp because it can prevent scalp acne and dry scalp. Red palm oil is rich in vital nutrients. These vitamins are essential for healthy hair and skin. Vitamins A and E are free radical neutralizers and they fight free radicals, helping to protect and preserve your cells, resulting in healthier hair and skin. This red palm oil hair treatment is highly recommended to be done at least once every 4 weeks. When hair is lacking nutrition, you will have dry, brittle hair which can stop your hair growth. Red palm oil hair treatment is a must try for all women especially if you have natural dry hair or even damaged hair. I have to say, as the founder of Juka’s Organic Co. the number one supplier of red palm oil from West Africa, I was still very skeptical or should I just be honest and say too busy and lazy to try this regiment. Although I know all the health benefits that this ancient cooking oil provides because after all, I eat red palm oil every other day as part of my daily food intake. I also use our red palm oil soap daily and use the oil as a natural facial treatment which always leave my skin glowing. I would have never thought I would find myself combing through my natural, thick hair into three sections, with big yellow gloves on, a full roll of paper towel right next to me to clean up red palm oil spots if by any chance it would drip from trying to get it on each section and strand of my hair. It was a Saturday when I had nowhere to go and not much to do. I had to put on dark clothes and dark brown towels to avoid red palm oil stains. After I was able to get the oil through my hair I twisted my hair into the three different sections, I put on a shower cap and then wrapped a small dark brown towel on my head. The whole ordeal started at 10:00am and by 4pm I decided to wash the red palm oil out of my hair. By the way, throughout the day I had my paper towel to whip the oil off my neck and forehead as it could drip down at times (but you can simply avoid this by putting just enough and not too much red palm oil). The secret is to also apply the red palm oil when it is semi-solid and not too liquid to avoid too much mess as you apply it to your hair so you can refrigerate the oil for a few hours prior to using it. As the day goes on, it will melt and that is another reason to have your paper towel handy. I also used the paper towel at the end of the treatment to first whip the excess of oil off my hair before bending forward over my kitchen sink simply because it is stainless steal and was much easier to wash off any red oil stains. I might have used too much red palm oil to begin with but 2 spoons of the oil should go a long way depending on how much hair you have. The idea is to be sure you have red palm oil all over your hair from the scalp to the hair tip. I did 3 shampoo washes and then applied my favorite hair conditioner. My hair was soft, nourished, shiny and it just looked and felt like I fed it with some great food.To top  it all off, I used our new hair product to oil my hair Juka’s Organic Natural Hair Food, now this is something I can’t explain, you just have to try and experience it for yourself. Yes it is that good, it has all the natural food oils your hair needs and it is chemical and alcohol free.
